One of the lesser known features of the Amazon Kindle site is the Kindle Countdown Deals. For a limited time — usually a few hours to a few days — certain books are highlighted and marked down to a very low price that lets the reader take advantage of great reads and for very little money.  Black Friday, the traditional “best shopping day of the year” is already happening on Amazon, and there are hundreds of books from Kindle that are included in the sales.  The trick is to check back often, since most of the deals expire within a relatively short time period, and if you see something that you like, grab it right then so that you don’t forget and lose it.
