As a mom, a children’s librarian and a teacher, I know that there is nothing more important than getting our kids to learn to love reading.  I am an avid reader and have been since I was a child.  Out of my four children, two love to read and two avoid it like the plague.  I discovered during my time as a children’s librarian that even the most reluctant of readers can be engaged–the trick is finding the right book.

Amazon Kindle offers thousands of free books every day, and many of those are for kids.  Today we look at the best Free Kindle books for kids, just in time for summer.  Even if our kids just read one or two books this summer, it’s one or two more than they had read before summer started!

Mystery of the Ballerina Ghost (Pack-n-Go Girls – Austria)
